Storage ice bins from ITV, Atosa, and Brema — sized from 220 lb through 1,048 lb capacity. Match your ice bin capacity to your ice machine output so you don't run short during peak service or leave production idle overnight.

Ice bins pair with modular ice machine heads that don't include integrated storage. Check the top opening of the bin against your machine's footprint before ordering.

Choosing the right ice bin

A good starting rule: your ice bin should hold about 24 to 36 hours of your machine's ice production. That gives buffer for peak rushes and lets the machine cycle down overnight. For a 400 lb/day machine, look at a 400 to 600 lb bin. For a 900 lb machine, a 750 lb bin is a common pairing since ice draw is continuous through the day.

Compatibility

Brema Ice Bins — Made in Italy

Brema builds Italian-made stainless ice bins designed to pair with Brema modular ice machine heads, but with universal top openings that also fit ITV and other 22 inch and 30 inch modular heads. Both models below use 18/10 stainless interior and exterior, are NSF certified, and share the same 39.5 by 22 by 32 inch footprint so you can swap capacities without changing your floor plan.

Small to mid-volume — pair with 200 to 300 lb/day modular heads

A 220 lb bin holds roughly 24 to 30 hours of production from a 200 lb/day head, which is the right buffer for cafes and small restaurants where ice draw is steady but not extreme.

High-volume — pair with 400 to 540 lb/day modular heads

The 400 lb bin gives you overnight storage buffer for kitchens running modular heads in the 400 to 550 lb/day range. That's enough capacity to absorb weekend rushes at busy pizzerias, fast-casual chains, and healthcare units.
