Is the ATRC-48-NG the Right Charbroiler for Your Line?
The ATRC-48-NG is 48" wide with four 12" zones, each on its own 35,000 BTU stainless steel burner and manual control, for 140,000 BTU on natural gas. Radiants sit over the burners and spread the heat under 47-9/10" x 20-1/5" of reversible cast iron grate, about 968 sq in. It weighs 200.6 lb, or 256.4 lb shipped.
Radiant or lava rock? The lava rock ATCB-48 has the same size, burners and BTU but cooks over a bed of lava briquettes, which some cooks prefer for flavor. It weighs 47.2 lb more, and the rock has to be spread and replaced over time. With radiants, there is no rock to manage.
Set up for natural gas with a 4" W.C. regulator. The ATRC-48-LP is the same charbroiler for propane. Short on space? The ATRC-36-NG is 36" wide. Building a line? The ATTG-48-NG thermostatic and ATMG-48-NG manual griddles are the same 48" width and 15-1/5" height, 1" deeper at 28-3/5".
