A 36 Inch Charbroiler on Propane
This 36 inch charbroiler runs on propane with three 35,000 BTU burners and radiants. The heavy-duty cast iron grates are reversible and adjust to more than one level.
Is the ATRC-36-LP the Right Propane Charbroiler?
If your kitchen or truck runs on propane, this is the Atosa charbroiler to look at: the lava rock ATCB line is natural gas only, so the radiant ATRC is the propane choice. The ATRC-36-LP has three 35,000 BTU burners for 105,000 BTU, the same rating as the natural gas ATRC-36-NG, on a regulator set at 10" W.C.
You get 35-7/10" x 20-1/5" of reversible cast iron grate, about 721 sq in, with a manual control and standby pilot for each 12" zone. Plan for 158.7 lb on the counter and 205 lb on delivery, and a footprint 36" wide by 27-3/5" deep.
Building a propane line? The ATTG-36-LP thermostatic and ATMG-36-LP manual griddles are the same 36" width on propane. In a food truck, check your local fire code first and have a licensed technician connect it. Need another zone? The ATRC-48-LP is 48" wide. Short on space? The ATRC-24-LP is 24" wide.

- This is the propane model. Order the ATRC-36-NG for natural gas. There is no propane lava rock ATCB, so the ATRC is the Atosa propane charbroiler.
- Gas: 3/4" NPT rear connection with a regulator. Atosa lists the regulator at 10" W.C. for propane.
- Check your counter: the ATRC-36-LP is 36" wide, 27-3/5" deep and 15-1/5" tall, per the Atosa drawing. It weighs 158.7 lb, so use a counter or stand rated for that weight.
