This restaurant ice machine makes up to 450 lb of half-dice ice a day. That is the most of any 23" Atosa YRS model that runs on 115V. It sits on an ice bin, sold separately, and has a NEMA 5-15P plug.
Is the YRS0450A-161 the Right Size?

Before You Order
- Power: NEMA 5-15P plug. Atosa lists 115V and 11.9 amps, with a 16 A fuse/breaker.
- This machine has no bin. Order a bin with it: the BYR0300 for a 23" setup, or the BYR0400 with the BYR0400235001 bin adaptor (optional, sold separately). Atosa also offers an optional bin thermostat kit (BYR0400217031) that stops ice making when the bin is full.
- Plan for a water line and a drain. Atosa says the water must meet drinking water standards and the machine needs a drain.
- Atosa lists water pressure of 30 to 70 psi and water temperature of 37°F to 90°F.
- Keep the room between 41°F and 110°F. Atosa lists 270 lb a day for the YRS0450A-161 with a 100°F room and 90°F water, versus 450 lb at 70°F and 50°F.
- Leave at least 2" on the left and right and 1" on top for airflow and service: about 26-3/4" of width and 68-1/4" of height for the stack.
- Check your space: the YRS0450A-161 is 22-3/4" wide, 24-1/4" deep and 25-3/4" tall.
- Add the bin height to the machine height. On a 41-1/2" tall BYR bin, the stack is about 67-1/4" tall.

Keeping It Clean
- Clean and sanitize every 3 months. Atosa recommends the Atosa ATIMD01 powder descaler and Atosa ATIMR02 powder rinse.

- Throw out the first batch of ice made after cleaning.
- Wash the condenser air filter once a month.
