How Much the HM12N Grinds in a Shift
At its rated 264 lb per hour, the HM12N works through about 66 lb in 15 minutes and 132 lb in 30 minutes. Eurodib rates it for light to medium duty commercial use. Real output depends on the meat, how cold it is and how small you cut it, so plan batches with some margin.
HM12N vs HM22A
The Eurodib HM22A is the larger grinder we carry: a #22 hub, a 1.5 HP motor and up to 660 lb an hour, against #12, 1.1 HP and 264 lb an hour for the HM12N. Both take the same 10" L x 24" W x 18" H of counter. The HM12N draws 6 amps against 10 amps for the HM22A, which leaves more room on a shared 110V circuit.
