Atosa USA ATCM-36 36" Cheesemelter Cheese melter specialty broiler

The cheesemelter like the salamander is specialty broiler. Just like it's name it primary use is to melt cheese, primarily on Italian, Mexican, and Tex-Mex dishes.

Cheesemelter Uses: While it accomplishes cheese melting with ease it also can be used to brown, poach, and boil. However, its main function is to finish foods and not cook it. This means that cheesemelters often have a lower overall heat output compared to salamanders. Please note that the Atosa Cheesemelter has the same output and the Atosa Salamander.

Your charboiler should be seasoned just like griddle a after its cleaned. Simply apply an high temperature cooking oil to the grates of the charbroiler, place the charbroiler on high for 30 minutes until it starts smoking and then let it cool.

Cheesemelters come in your choice of either Natural Gas or Propane. They also come with a conversion kit if you should need to convert to the other gas type. Most mobile vendors and food trucks purchase the Propane version and stand alone restaurant locations purchase natural gas. electric cheesemelters are available.
