The Thunder Group SEJ50000 is our lowest-cost 30 cup electric rice cooker. It has a plain aluminum inner pot, cooks about 60 bowls in 28 to 30 minutes and switches to warm on its own for up to 3 hours. It is not NSF listed, so it suits kitchens where the local health code allows a non-NSF countertop cooker.

Is the SEJ50000 the Right Cooker?
The SEJ50000 is the lowest-cost way to cook 30 cups at a time. It suits a budget setup where your health inspector does not require NSF listing on a countertop cooker, and staff are fine soaking and scrubbing a bare aluminum pot after each batch.
- Want easier cleanup? The SEJ50000T is the same cooker with a non-stick Teflon pot, so less rice sticks to the bottom.
- Need NSF? The SEJ50000 is not NSF listed. The SEJ3201 cooks 30 cups and is NSF listed.
- Power: 1,780 watts at 120 volts is close to a full 15 amp circuit. Do not share that outlet circuit with another cooker or warmer.

The pot. The SEJ50000 has a bare aluminum inner pot. The SEJ50000T has a non-stick Teflon coated pot that releases rice more easily. Size, power and capacity are the same.
